10 weeks gone by already…
I really can’t believe it – we’re already one quarter of the way through to having a new born baby. When I was young my parents would say when you get past 21 years old time really flies by and before you know it 10 years have gone by. In this case it’s only 10 weeks but the concept is the same. Time stops for no-one and so you have to enjoy every moment of life.
Whilst I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of our second child I realise that I must enjoy every day as Alfie, our first born, amuses and amazes us with everything that he does. He’s 15 months old now and is learning something new everyday. He’s too young to understand what it means to have a brother or sister but I’m sure he’s going to love having a play-mate when he/she arrives.
On a different subject my good friend Rob is taking part in the Great North Run this weekend to raise money for his chosen charity – Down syndrome – and I’d like to take this opportunity to say how admirable it is that he is putting so much effort in to raising money for a really worthy cause. All the best Rob!!
