The signs of pregnancy are already showing – morning sickness has kicked in. Morning sickness is a strange turn of phase as sickness related to having a baby can occur at any time of the day.

It was a Friday morning on which I woke early as we had decided the night before to perform a pregnancy test first thing. I gently nudged my wife to wake her to get on with things.
