Some Fathers of note.

You’re in good company as a dad. Here is a list of fathers that you may have heard of:

David Hasselhoff

He is the father of two daughters, Taylor Ann and Hayley Amber

Andrew Flintoff

“The relationships in the household haven’t changed, and from the start it’s been unbelievably enjoyable having kids. I’ve always wanted kids and now I have responsibility for two little people.”  This was a quote from Andrew prior to the birth of his third child. Andrew now has three children called Holly, Corey and Rocky.

Sir Paul McCartney

Paul adopted Heather, Linda Eastman’s first born, then they had Mary in 1969, Stella in 1971 and James in 1977. Paul married Heather Mills who had Beatrice in October 2003.

Russell Crowe

Here are some fantastic quotes from Russell:

Tom has two adopted children as well as one to whom he is the biological father and he loves them all.

Johnny Depp

In 2008  Johnny donated $2 million to the London children’s hospital that saved his 8-year-old daughter’s life when she became seriously ill. Depp also showed up in and spent hours reading bedtime stories to patients while dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow after having his Pirates costume flown in from Los Angeles.

David Beckham

David has three boys. They are Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

Brad Pitt

Colin Farrell

Patrick Dempsey

Patrick described the routine of his twin sons, Darby and Sullivan, shortly after their birth as follows:

“Here’s the cycle: They wake up, they cry, they go to the breast, they eat, they poo or pee, you change a diaper, and they go back to sleep. It’s much harder for my wife than for me because she’s pumping or nursing.”

Will Smith

Will explained that entertainment was the family business when talking to OK! magazine.

“Entertainment is our family business. It’s what we do, it’s how we eat, so at some level everyone is involved in the process.”

Anyone who has seen him with his son, Jaden, in “The pursuit of Happyness” will find it hard to disagree. Will also has an older son, Trey, and a daughter, Willow.

Michael Douglas

Michael joked that his kids finally knew what he did for a living after he accepted a Lifetime Achievement award at the Savannah Film Festival:

“I don’t have a movie that they can see. So up until tonight, they knew mommy is an actress and daddy makes pancakes. So thank you. Now they know what their father does.”

Matt Damon

“I really used to have no life outside movies. I’d work all day, go to the gym and go to sleep…now I have a place to be so I come home after work.”

Christian Bale

Christian has openly admitted that fatherhood has changed his life.

He said, “I have a whole different set of principles and ethics when it comes to my daughter, which is just far more cutthroat than my own personal ones,”

Usher

Usher appreciates how important his role of father is and enjoys the special feeling a fisrt time dad gets:

“That [performance] was special but it’s nothing compared to how I feel about my boy. I save my greatest performances for him.”

……and finally the king himself, Elvis Presley

Elvis has a daughter called Lisa Marie after whom he named one of his aeroplanes.
