It’s a boy…

The scan was great. We turned up 25 minutes early for our appointment, we were both excited and had been looking forward to the scan for quite some time, and fortunately we were seen straight away. The midwife was really nice, she took plenty time showing us all the important development factors explaining it to us as she progressed. After confirming all was as expected she asked the question we had been waiting for…Do you want to know the sex? Yes, yes please was our response in tandem. Within seconds …

The Einstein Workout

E=mc²
You might remember this from your old high school math class.
It was Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity.

It was a lovely feeling. I felt like I had connected with my child and that they were wiggling to say hello.
Our little boy, Alfie, is keeping us busy this week. He seems to have masses and masses of energy. In all fairness though I suppose that …

A break from the norm…

A few days in Blackpool have been just what the doctor ordered. Spending some quality time with the family has been really nice. We took Alfie with the intention that the illuminations would capture his imagination but taking him to the Blackpool tower proved to be the real highlight. The lights didn’t fill him with excitement. In fact he looked around for about 10 minutes and then promptly assumed the sleeping position in his pushchair.
We thought the Tower may be of some interest to him but we were certainly surprised …
