Should we tell our friends…

15 October 2009 No Comment

So we’ve told our immediate families, the next decision is when to tell our friends about our impending arrival. It’s usually 12/13 weeks before the first scan and that tends to be the most common time for people to share their good news, I on the other hand am really excited and want the world to know now.

I understand the caution during the early days of pregnancy as we have previously experienced the heartbreak that miscarriage can bring but without the family and friends that helped us through on that occasion we would have found it all the more difficult.

I’m sure we’ll tell people in our own time but we’ll have to wait and see when that is.
