Mom is one in a million too.

Having a baby is a wonderful time for not only dad but also for mom. Mom will have a lot of changes going on both emotionally and physically and will need all the love and support that you can muster. It doesn’t stop there though – as your little diamond grows from baby to toddler to teen mom will still require those reminders of how much she is appreciated. One thing every man knows is that women love to be spoiled. Whether it’s chocolates, teddy bears, flowers or a simple card it can go a long way to showing your love for the woman that has made you the proudest dad on Earth. In addition, as a dad you now have a responsibility to remember Mothers Day is one of the most important days of the year. Add to this Valentines day, Wedding anniversaries, Birthdays and Christmas ( you now need to buy cards from junior too ) your going to need to ask yourself the impossible question of, What do women want?

Don’t panic though – help is at hand.

Superdads have got the answers for you along with recommendations to help make your life easy. Put into the past the days when you stopped at the petrol station to buy flowers and a card on your way home because you either forgot or couldn’t decide what to buy. A couple of clicks and dad is still in the Good books.

What’s the Occasion:

Mother and baby are coming home from the hospital

When you go to collect mother and baby from the birthing unit it’s a special moment. You went to the hospital as an expectant couple and are coming home as a family. Unless, of course, it’s   not your first child but still it no less a special moment. Superdads suggests taking a Card, bunch of flowers and maybe a cuddly toy to present to your partner at the hospital. And why not give it that little bit of an extra touch   by attaching a helium balloon to either the cuddly toy or flowers.

For the more lavish amongst us, the birth of a child may see us buying an eternity ring or maybe other items of Jeweler – Birthstones are always well received:

It might be worth considering that Chocolates may not go down too well as those extra pounds gained during Pregnancy may already be on the mind of the new mom. Instead how about   getting a nice bottle of Champagne or Wine on ice for when she arrives home ( if she isn’t breast feeding ). Nine months have gone by in which she probably hasn’t enjoyed a tipple. This could be something she’ll really appreciate. The following items should cover what you need to consider, and we’ve included our recommendations on the links below:

  • Flowers
  • Balloons
  • Cards
  • Wine and Champagne
  • Soft toys
  • Jewelery
Personalised Greeting Cards from Moonpig

Mothers Day

It’s a special day for all mothers. Not only do you now need to show appreciation for your own mother but you need to show your appreciation for the mother of your children. It may be a nice touch to even acknowledge grandmothers on this day as it will only go towards giving you that superdad tag if you do. Cards are a must on Mothers day and flowers are always good but after that there are many options open to you. Below are our Superdad suggestions, and to help you out  you’ll find links on this page to our recommended suppliers, that should cover everything you need:

  • Spa days
  • Days out
  • Restaurants
  • Cards
  • Flowers

Thank you for this information. Not easy to find out this information. Some sites list the “new” gemstones for the birth months…I like the traditional stones. A lot of my questions answered.
